Well....
I figured it out.
I know why I am having soo much trouble finding a bf or just a potential "date." It is all due to the fact that the last time I was single and dated was in junior high/beginning of high school. The only "dating" I am used to is junior high dating. I haven't experienced true dating in the adult world. This is why I think I am scaring guys away. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I am obviously doing something wrong because I am not getting anywhere. I am also a relationship person. It satisfies me more to be in a relationship rather than just be single and go from guy to guy. I like to be hugged, held, kissed, and I love for my bf to hold my hand. It is all those little things I love about having a bf and that's what I miss. I don't see me enjoying those things anytime soon though and that's sad. Because I think I need that more right now in my life than anything else. Sometimes I just wonder who it is that I am supposed to be with...and when will I meet him if I haven't already. Where's my special someone? It is almost Christmas....soon after that comes Valentine's Day....the most depressing day of the year. I can already see me being alone that day.Well I am going to end this because it is a sad entry and I am sorry but I had to let some things out I guess. My serious side hardly comes out anymore. Well hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Confidence is the key! Honestly though, you are a really great person! I have no doubt that almost anyone could have fun with you! Just try not to worry youself too much...I know how good all those little things feel, and how it hurts to be without them. Just stay happy and positive and you'll do fine!

Hey, dont feel bad. I have never spent a Valentines day with anyone...well, other than my parents ("no" to whatever you are thinking). I have never had a New Years kiss. Dont expect either to happen this year either. I havent accepted defeat, I am just being patient hoping that it pays off someday.

Not to intrude or anything, just thought i could give you some food for thought that may be uplifting. You just have to be patient and accept that it may take a while for ya to find someone you can click with. That and enjoy actually being on your own... while relationships can be great, they can be a pain in the rear too... when you get nostalgic or emotional it can be easy to forget all the problems that can come with relationships. All the frustrations, arguing, and the hurt that either causes or is caused by the breakup... sometimes you have to sit back and remind yourself those are also part of the package often times. Sometimes we don't have the fallbacks we need to comfort ourselves in life, and that's when ya need to quit looking at the calendar and look within yourself to get you through. We're all still young here (ok, well, I might not be that young, that's not the point though), there's still plenty of life to be lived and plenty of adventures to be had... enjoy those moments when you can and while you can, for they won't last forever.
